(9th Annual 9/11 Memorial and Stair Climb Event)....It is being hosted by the Imperial Valley 9/11 Stair Climb Committee.

The event is held at the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds. This year will be the 21st anniversary of September 11, 2001. This year's event will be held Saturday September 10th, starting at 8:00 pm. The guest speaker this year will be Holtville Fire Department Chief Alex Silva. The Memorial Stair Climb is a way for the community to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Each participant climbs or walks the equivelant of 110 stories of the World Trade Center, carrying the name and photo of a fallen hero to symbolically complete their climb.
