(Collision reported at just after 9 Tuesday morning)...The California Highway Patrol responded to Evan Hewes Highway, north of Imperial Highway.

A witness called the CHP from a gas station in Ocotillo. The caller said the vehicle had rolled several times, and the male occupant looked pretty beat up. The Highway Patrol says the vehicle may have struck a light pole, before rolling several times. The injured person was transported to a hospital for treatment. His condition is not known. The CHP is investigating the incident.
