The National Weather Service says chances of showers and thunderstorms continue Sunday.

Somewhat drier air will enter the region for the next several days but the weather pattern should become favorable for for more widespread thunderstorms during the later part of the week. For the Imperial Valley there is a minimal threat of storms Monday through Wednesday but increased storm chances return Thursday. Temperatures will be at or near normal.
