(The death of an elderly woman under investigation)....The woman was in her vehicle when she was discovered.

The vehicle was in the soubound lanes of Highway 111. Calexico Police reported the discovery at around 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The police notified the County Sheriff's Office, who in turn dispatched the County Coroner to the scene. The incident is under investigation.
