The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for the Imperial and Yuma Valleys.

The NWS sys temperatures will be in the 115-degree range through the weekend. There is also a 10% - 30% chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms through Monday. Temperatures are expected to drop close to normal by the first of the week. You are encouraged to take precautions to avoid heat related illnesses.
