(The next court dates set)...Kimberly Vega and Athan Estrada are the susects.

Their pre-trial has been set for July 25. Their jury trial is also expected to be scheduled at that court appearance. Vega and Estrada are suspected in the 2021 shooting death of Pablo Dominguez in El Centro. According to reports, Vega was the ex girlfriend of Dominguez and she want him to be killed. Estrada, a local gang member, volunteered to perform the homicide for free. Vega remains in County jail with a bail of $1 million. Estrada is also still in jail without bail. He is considered a flight risk after he was erroneously let out of jail. He fled to Mexicali, where he was arrested by Mexicali authorities and returned to Imperial County Jail
