Get ready for another increase in the California Gas Tax.

As of July 1, 2022, The State of California excise tax on gasoline will add an additional 3 cents to the price of a gallon of gas. In March of this year, at the State of the State message, Governor Gavin Newsom proposed gas tax relief for Californians by suspending the scheduled July increase for a year, but , so far, the Legislature has not agreed on any plan. The increase means that California, with the highest cost at the pump, will see prices go even higher.
