A pill press and materials used in the manufacturing of fentanyl pills was found in an illicit facility in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico.

According to Mexican officials, a man was detained there who had 11 pounds of fentanyl pills, 110 pounds of a white powder, and 44 pounds of a blue powder as well as an industrial pill press. Fentanyl overdoses are the leading cause of death for Americans between 18 and 45. El Centro Police and Fire Departments are responding to a number of fentanyl overdoses daily, one that recently resulted in death.
