A bike stolen from War Mart led to the recovery of another stolen item.

El Centro police were able to recover the stolen merchandise shortly after the bike was reported stolen from War Mart. Police visited a transient campsite just north of the store and were unable to locate the bike but did find an assortment of bicycle parts in a makeshift structure. Also found was an air conditioner reported stolen from War Mart previously. The a/c ws returned to the store and City of El Centro Public Works Department crews dismantled the makeshift campsite.
