(Imperial County to remember Law Enforcement officers lost in the line of duty)...The 14th Annual Imperial Valley Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be held this Friday.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. It will be held in front of the County Courthouse on Main Street in El Centro. Law Enforcement agencies, surviving family members and the public are all invited to continue the remembrance of those peace officers who have died in the line of duty. It is hosted by the Imperial Valley Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation. The Foundation was formed with the specific objective and purpose to honor the local, fallen law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty while serving in all Federal, State, County and City agencies in the Imperial valley. This year they will memorialize 44 local Law Enforcement Officers.
