(Fire in the extreme east Imperial County)...At last report it had gone to a second alarm.

The fire was reported on the Quechan Tribal Reservation, near Quechan and Picacho Roads. Officials said the Ocean to Ocean Road had to be closed. Officials said IID power poles were being threatened by the fire, but no structures were in danger. Departments on scene were the City of Yuma, Rural Mtro, City of Holtville and County Fire stations 1 and 8. There were no injuries reported.
