A Child Safety Seat Inspection event will be held Saturday.

The Imperial County Public Health Department, California Highway Patrol and First5 Imperial will host the event on April 9, 2022, in the parking lot of the County Health Department on Broadway in El Centro. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will offer car seat inspections and education. If a seat is found to be expired, damaged or not the right size for a child it will be destroyed, and an appropriate car seat will be provided and installed at no cost to parents or caregivers.
