(Annual Spelling Bee coming March 24th)...It is the 17th Annual Regional Spelling Bee.

It will be held from 6-8 pm at the Jimmie Cannon Theater at Southwest High School in El Centro. 37 students from 19 Imperial County Schools will be participating in the event. The finalist will have the opportunity to compete at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. later this spring. The ICOE Foundation for Education is committed to sending this year's Imperial County Spelling Bee Champion to Washington D.C.
