He was found bleeding from stab wounds. Police determined he was stabbed at 4th and State Streets in El Centro. He died at the hospital. An autopsy has determined the 62 year old died as a result of a stab wound to the chest. The autopsy ruled the death as a homicide. Police were investigating the death as a suspected homicide. Investigators say there is a person of interest they want to speak with, but no suspects have been named. The investigation is ongoing.
