(COVID numbers updated, again)...Active COVID cases are down, again.

That is twice in two days. COVID numbers are provided by the County Public Health Department. The numbers were updated Thursday morning. The new numbers indicate there are 528 active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County. That is down from the 584 cases reported on Wednesday. Hospitalizations attributed to COVID 19 remain at 42. There are still 9 COVID 19 patients in Intensive Care. 18 ventilators are still in use countywide. The number of Omicron variant cases remain at 239. Delta variant numbers are unchanged at 1,182. The State Metrics for Imperial County, positivity rate 7 day average is at 17.3%. New cases per day per 100,000 population are at 40.30. The total doses of COVID 19 vaccine administered in the county have risen to 415,473.
