(COVID 19 update)....New numbers were released Thursday morning.

The numbers are provided by the County Public Health Department. According to the new numbers, the number of active COVID cases remain at 1,160. Deaths attributed to the virus remain at 859. The number of COVID positive patients hospitalized in the county have dropped to 62, down from the 73 reported Tuesday. 18 of those hospitalized are in Intensive Care, down from 25 previouslky reported. There are 5 ICU beds available in the county. 32 ventilators are currently in use at the two hospitals. That is down from the 42 reported Tuesday. The number of variant cases remain the same as what was reported Tuesday. The total number of COVID vaccine doses  in the county are now over 408,000
