(Another fire in El Centro)....This one was reported Wednesday evening.

El Centro Fire responded to the fire in the 400 Block of Ross, near Dogwood Road. The call came in at 6:27 Wednesday evening. When Fire crews arrived, they found the vacant structure fully engulfed. Firefighters coordinated their efforts to keep the fire from spreading. They had the blaze extinguished within 30 minutes. Crews remained on scene for over two hours to prevent any flare-ups. No injuries were reported. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a male subject leaving the scene at the time of the incident. Fire investigators are looking for that individual. He is described as  a thin-built Hispanic male in his mid-30's. He was last seen wearing a beige baseball cap, a black shirt and dark striped sweatpants. Any information on the individual or the fire are asked to contact Battalion Chief Brad Chapin at the fire department. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
