Renovation of the abandoned hotel and property starts in March. Gafcon, a San Diego based company, wants to turn the building and property into a Cambridge Hotel. The plans for the Hotel is 108 guest rooms, a bar, a large events room and an indoor swimming pool. The project is expected to create up to 150 construction jobs. The rehab project is expected to take about a year to complete.
