(A Big weekend at the Carrot Festival)...It is the 75th annual event in Holtville.

Tonight is the Carrot Festival Kick-off concert. It starts at 7:00 pm on the corner of Holt and 5th, in front of Mechanics Bank. Saturday the Carrot Festival Mile and 5k races start at 7 am. The Street and Crafts Fair starts at 8 Saturday morning. The Annual Carrot Festival Parade kicks off at 10:00 am. The Parade travels west on 5th Street from Maple to Cedar. The Student Art Show starts at 11 am. The POarade awards will be announced at 11:30 am. Following the awards will be the School Drumline Competition. The Midway Carnival starts at noon Saturday. On Sunday the Street and Crafts Fair starts at 9 am. The Midway Carnival will start at 11 Sunday morning.
