(Friday morning traffic collisions)...Two collisions were reported Friday morning.

The California Highway Patrol responded to both collisions. The first was reported at just after 4:00 am on West McCabe Road, near Austin. Minor injuries were reported. The collision may be alcohol related. The second collision was reported at around 8:30 Friday morning. A white Ford Mustang ran off the roadway and crashed into the canal at Neckel and Clark Roads. The driver and her dog were found sitting in the partially submerged vehicle. Neither were injured. That collision is also being investigated by the CHP.
