A magnitude 3.4 earthquake shook the Borrego Springs area Sunday.
The U. S. Geological Survey recorded the earthquake shortly before 1:00 p.m. Sunday. The epicenter was 12.4 north of Borrego Springs. There are no reports of injuries or damage.
