(Registered Gang Member in custody)....He was arrested late last week.

At around 8:45 pm, agents assigned to the El Centro station encountered a man near the Jacumba Wilderness Region. The man was undocumented and had entered the US illegally. He was found about two miles north of the US/Mexico border. He was arrested and taken to El Centro for processing. During a records check it was revealed the man was a documented Paisas gang member with an extensive criminal and immigration history. The infividual had numerous felony and misdemeanor convictions including multiple re-entries following deportation.
