El Centro police arrested a 54-year-old man on a variety of charges.
At about 1:30 Tuesday afternoon police were notified that a man was bothering employees at an El Centro establishment and that he had eaten the lunch of one of those employees. Police were able to locate the suspect and determined that the man had a number of outstanding warrants. The suspect refused commands to comply with the officers and was subdued after officers used a chemical spray. After being decontaminated, the man was booked into Imperial County Jail on charges and warrants for offenses including Possession of Stolen Property and Auto Theft.
