Early Morning Traffic collisions)...There were two collisions.

They were reported at around 5:30 Friday morning. They were reported on Old Highway 80 at Live Oak Springs Road. In the first incident a motorcycle went out of control. The second collision occurred when a Ford Focus hit the downed motorcycle, inflicting fatal injuries to the rider. The California Highway Patrol says both lanes of Old Highway 86 were closed to allow for the investigation and clean-up. Traffic was detoured around the collision scene. No other details have been released.
