Two people were injured in a Wednesday afternoon traffic accident.

The accident, at Highway 115 and Hoyt Road, was reported at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday. A pick up truck collided with a side by side off road vehicle. Two people in the off road vehicle were injured. One was air lifted to Desert Regional Medical Center and the other transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center. The accident remains under investigation.
