(CBP releases operational update for November)...The report is for the Southwest Border.

The report indicates there 173,620 encounters all along the southwest border. 75,955 were single adults. 66% of them were processed and deported. 11,155 of the encounters involved family unit individuals. 25% of those were processed for deportation. 9% of the encounters were unaccompanied children. The number of unaccompanied children encountered was over 1,000 more than those encountered in October.
