(Motorist reports finding a body)..The motorist spotted the body at around 3:50 am near the Intersection of Highway 78 and Hovely Road.

They called Brawley Police. At 4:00 am Wednesday, the police notified the County Sheriff's office advising them of a man down. Ambulance personnel responded to the scene and confirmed the person was deceased. They said the body had multiple gunshot wounds. The victim is a white adult male approximately 30 years of age and believed to be a resident of Brawley. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. The Sheriff's office is investigating the incident and they say there is currently no suspect information.
