The Board meets in the Board Chambers in the Administration Building on Main Street in El Centro. During Public Session, the Board will be asked to adopt a resolution recognizing Oswaldo Guerrero's contribution to the field of Probation. There will be a presentation on the Imperial Valley Desert Museum, presented by Kristin O'Leary, Head Curator at the Museum. The Supervisors will discuss the Desert Shores Park Project. There will be a presentation on the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery for the AB 1383 Recycling and Organic Recycling Mandates regarding short lived Climate Pollutant Reduction Strategy. The Board is expected to award the contract for the Heber Avenue improvements. They will discuss a resolution establishing an appropriation limit of just over $153,8 million for this fiscal year. And the Board will discuss the County Fire Department entering into the USDA Rural Development Communities Facilities Grant Agreement for almost $782, 000 for the capital purchase equipment of 7 auto extrication tools and 98 sets of Personal Protective Suits.
