COVIUD information is provided by the County Public Health Department. According to the new numbers, active cases of COVID 19 are now at 552, up from the 524 previously reported. Deaths attributed to the virus have also increased from 769 to 778. There are 61 COVID positive patients hospitalized in Imperial County. 15 are in Intensive Care. There are zero ICU beds available in the County. Public Health says there are 30 ventilators in use. State metrics for Imperial County indicate a positivity rate, 7 day average of 14.7%. New Cases per day per 100,000 population is now at 27.80. Vaccinations continue to increase in Imperial County. The total number of doses administered are now at 313,494.
