(Laurint enters plea)....Ioan Laurint apparently accepted a plea agreement.

He was in Court this week tto enter a No Contest plea to second degree murder. The 53 year old was arrested in 2017 and charged with first degree premeditated murder in the stabbing death of 53 year old Ann Marie Zimmerman. Laurint first appeared in court in April 2017. What followed was a lengthy process of delays and postponements, including a mental competency hearing. By entering the plea, it appears the over 4 year process could be over. Sentencing has been set for March 29. Laurint could be sentenced up to 15 years to life. He can be fined up to $10,000 and four years post release parole or probation. He remains in custody with bail at $1 million
