(Formerly deported felon arrested)....It happened over the Holiday weekend.

Victor Josue Rivera Valenzuela was originally arrested at the Calexico Port of Entry in 2014. He was attempting to smuggle Methamphetamine across the border. He was arrested, convicted and deported. Over the past weekend, Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents detained a group of 7 who had entered the US illegally near the port in Andrade. Among the group was Rivera Valenzuela. He was re-arrested and now faces federal charges. If convicted, he could spend he could spend over a decade in prison.
