(El Centro ringing in the Holidays)....Christmas season in El Centro.

It begins Friday with the El Centro Christmas Tree Lighting and Street Fair. The event will be held at 11th Street and Main Street, and will be hosted by the one and on7ly Carroll Buckley. New this year will be an Ice Skating Rink. The family event will feature a special appearance from Santa Claus, a decorated Christmas Tree, Live performances by Modern Dance Group the After School Program, Jete Dance Academy, Central Union High School Chorus and Guitar, Southwest High School Orchestra and OCD Rock Band. It will be a night full of activities, with food, artists, and other vendors. Festivities start at 5:00 pm.
