(Department very happy with donation)...The Yuma Fire Department received the donation late last week.

The Department has issued a special thank you to Amanda Aguirre and the Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. The appreciation is for a generous donation of a Heart Monitor Trainer. They say the state of the art trainer is valued at nearly $10,000. They say it provides paramedics with advanced training scenarios to sharpen and enhance their skills. The Department says the trainer was put into service almost as soon as it arrived.
