(Veteran's Day is a unique holiday)....It is one of the few holidays celebrated on it's actual day in the United States.

Being that it is a holiday, most government offices are closed today. The County is closed except for emergency service departments. The Imperial Irrigation District offices are also closed, however crews are on duty to respond to outages and other emergencies. Most other government offices, local, state and federal are closed today. All schools are closed.
