A U. S. Border Patrol vehicle was involved in a traffic accident Thursday evening.

Details are scarce but the accident occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. Thursday neat Drop 4 of the All American Canal. There were 8 people injured , one of them was life-flighted to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with major internal injuries. No other information was available. The accident remains under investigation.
