The Board recommends those interested view the meeting via live stream, available at the County website. Those who do attend in person are advised social distancing will be observed and face masks will be required. The Board begins the action calendar with a COVID 19 update from the County Public Health Department. Public Administrator and AAA Director Sarah Enz has two items on the agenda. The first deals with the Aging and Disability Resource Center designation from the California Department of Aging, in core partnership with Access Independence. The second item concerns frunding from the California Department off Aging. The funding totals $249,787 and includes an increased funding in the Congregate Meals Program, the Home Delivered Meals Program Administrative activities off the Area Agency on Aging and more. The Board will also discuss a request from District Attorney Gilbert Otero to submit a grant application to the office of Emergency Services for $270,857 for the Law Enforcement Specialized Units Program for the next calendar year. A Public Hearing will also be held to consider public input on draft maps and an overview of the proposed Imperialo County Supervisorial District Boundary lines.
