Somebody was tossing potatoes Wednesday night.

El Centro Police received a call from someone at Stark Field on S. 4th Street shortly after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. The caller said that someone was throwing potatoes at Cheerleaders and Pop Warner football players. The potatoes were apparently being launched from the alley near the bleachers at the field. No injuries were reported and no suspects were located.
