Interstate 8 at Imperial Avenue in El Centro will be Closed For Nightwork.

On both Monday and again on Wednesday one lane in each direction will close from Forrester Road to 4th Street/State Route 86. The closure from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each day. 

On Tuesday from7:00 p.m to 7:00 a.m. , all eastbound lanes will close between Forrester Road and 4th Street. On Thursday all westbound lanes will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 am fromForrester to 4th. 

Caltrans says that construction crews are nearing completion of the Interstate 8 / Imperial Avenue Interchange Project. The closures are to allow the removal of the wooden bridge falsework supports.
