(9/11 is this Saturday)...It marks the 20th anniversary of the Terrorist Attack on the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center.

Memorial Ceremonies have been held every year following the attack on September 11, 2001. Locally, two ceremonies will be held Friday. The Imperial Valley College Memorial Ceremony will begin at 8:30 Friday morning at the Main entrance to the college. El Centro Regional Medical Center will host their remembrance ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy will be held at 10:00 am Friday at the Main Entrance to the hospital on Imperial Avenue in El Centro. The public is encouraged to attend either or both ceremonies.
