(29 year old arrested over the weekend)....The man had apparently entered the US illegally.

Border Patrol agents encountered the man about a mile north of the international border, about six miles east of Calexico. He was taken to the El Centro Station for processing. During a records check, it was revealed the man was a Mexican National, identified as Jose Flores Cervantes, a documented member of a street gang in Santa Rosa, California. They also found he had an active warrant for contempt of court. Agents said the man was being processed accordingly.
