According to current numbers, there are 35 COVID positive patients hospitalized in Imperial County. 12 of those are in Intensive care units around the county. Vaccinations are still being pushed as the best way to protect against hospitalizations or death. According to the latest numbers, there were 241,724 total vaccine doses administered in Imperial County. The County is hosting vaccination clinics throughout the month of September, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2895 South 4th Street in El Centro.
