(One injured in residential fire)....The fire was reported Monday night in Niland.

County fire responded to the fire in the 100 block of East 1st Street in Niland. Fire fighters had the fire contained within 30 minutes, but not before it had caused significant structural damage. One person was treated for smoke inhalation. The family living in the residence were displaced. They were being assisted by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation,
