(Vaccine numbers released Monday Morning)....They continue to go up in Imperial County.
According to numbers released Monday morning there have now been over 237,000 doses of COVID vaccine administered in Imperial County. The vaccine is available for all those 12 years and up. Local Health officials say juvenile cases of COVID 19 have increased dramatically in the Imperial County, as well as the nation. Vaccines are available at the South 4th Street Complex in El Centro every Tuesday and Thursday. They will be available through September. They are free and no appointments are needed. Vaccines are also available at various pharmacies, The Veteran's Memorial Hall in Imperial, and from private care givers. A vaccination could very well prevent COVID victims from being hospitalized or dying from the virus.
