(PMH Responds to new guideline)...They have announbced new visitor guidelines.
Pioneers Memorial Hospital officials say they are due to the recent state Department of Public Health orders related to COVID 19. Visitors at PMH are being asked to follow the limited and temporary public health requirements as established by the state. All visitors must show proof of full vaccination. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated must show proof of a negative test for the virus dated within the last 72 hours at the time of the visit. Visitors must be 16 years and older. All visitors must wear a face covering. All visitors must be screened and be issued a pass. Visitation hours will be from 11 am to 5 pm, daily. And, two designated visitors will be allowed per patient. O)fficials say compassionate exceptions can be evaluated by PMHD staff on a case by case basis for end of care, cancer care, special needs, disabled and pediatric patients. The guidelines are only in effect at the hospital and not for those seeking care at any other PMH facility.
