(IID Representatives named)...They are for the newly formed Coachella Valley Energy Commission.

This week the Imperial Irrigation District board Directors JB Hamby and James Hanks as the IID representatives. The Commission's first meeting will be Thursday. The rest of the Commission members will be introduced at that time. The new Commissioners will represent the cities of Coachella, Indio, La Quinta, the Cove Communities Services Commission, the Coachella Valley Tribal Nations, and representatives from both Riverside and Imperial Counties. The New Commission will be presented with an energy department overview aand they will discuss other important related matters. Thursday's meeting will be a public meeting and can be live streamed, available on the IID website.
