(Fugitive Found In Mexicali)...Athan Emmanuel Estrada was arrested Friday morning.

The US Marshall's Service had contacted the municipal law enforcement in Mexicali. The Municipal Police located Estrada and placed him under arrest. He was taken to the Border in Calexico and turned over to US Marshalls. Estrada was booked into the Oren Fox Detention Facility. The Sheriff's investigators are still investigating the cause of the mistaken release. Estrada was originally in jail facing abuse charges as well as homicide charges. Initial reports were that Estrada had assume the identity of another inmate who was scheduled for release.
