(IVC Board special meeting)....It has been scheduled for Monday evening.

The Board is looking to fill a vacancy on their board. The vacancy is for Area 1 and was created by the conviction of Trustee Annette Gonzalez Buttner. She is currently serving a 3 year jail sentence. The Board had decided to fill the vacancy with an appointment instead of holding a special election. The Board has now received two applications, from Ismael Lopez and Hortencia Armendariz. AQt the meeting Monday the two applicants will be interviewed, and one of them could be chosen to fill the vacant seat. The special Meeting Monday begins at 6:00 pm in the Administration Board Room at Imperial Valley College. The meeting will be in-person and via zoom t6eleconference.
