The California Highway Patrol says traffic was blocked for a short time on Westbound Interstate 8, at the west Y onramp. A vehicle involved in the collision blocked the lanes. One injury was reported. The injury was reported as a minor abrasions to the arm of the driver. Traffic was allowed through by 7:16 in the morning. Few details have been released as the incident remains under investigation.
