(Thursday afternoon brush fire)..The fire started around noon.
Many residents in Southeaster San Diego County saw the fire. Cal Fire, however, said none of the residents were in any danger. They said the fire was actually south of Tecate, on the Mexican side of the border. They said they wer keeping an eye on the fire, and it was moving away from the border. They said Cal Fire crews on alert, just in case the fire changed direction.
