Woman scammed out of $2,500.

El Centro Police reported that an elderly woman lost $2,500 to scammers. According to the 89-year old woman , she received a phone call telling her that her niece had been in an car accident and needed the money. The woman wired the scammers the money before learning that her niece had not been involved in an accident.
